Attended a sparring seminar In ELY on sunday 23rd july. Hosted by Mr Warren Vice 4th degree black belt.
The seminar proved to be a success. They have come away with some good tips and advice, which could be put to good use within our own sparring squad training , held at The Grove School the last Wednesday of every month. All students Adults/Juniors welcome.
SOME POINTS FOR THOSE ATTENDING GRADINGS
STUDENTS
YOUR DOBOK must be clean and pressed its not just your tae kwon do that is being graded
Don't be late as you need to warm up/register taken
Bow on entering the dojang (hall)
All senior grades will be addressed as Sir or ma'am
Make sure all jewellry is removed or taped up
Stay on the mats provided for students grading
When called be loud and proud
Enjoy your grading if you were not good enough you would not be grading
MOST OF ALL BE QUIET WHEN OTHERS ARE GRADING ( if you have to talk do it quietly)
PARENTS
Please try and be on time so students can be warmed up/register taken
Payments paid to instructors before grading date
Please ensure students stay on matts provided as benches are for parents/spectators,gradings are getting bigger and seating is limited
Most of all please be considerate and keep noise to a minimum while grading is taking place.
